Privacy Policy
Last updated July 2026
This policy explains what personal data Paydz collects, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have. We collect only what an order genuinely needs.
1. What we collect
We collect only what we need to run your orders:
- Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
- Order data: what you ordered, the contact phone attached to the order, quotes, payments status, and the order timeline.
- Delivery data: for shop-for-me, the delivery address you provide.
We do not collect or store your bank card number. Card details are entered directly with our licensed payment provider.
2. How we use it
We use your data only to create and price your orders, take payment, buy and deliver what you ordered, keep you updated by email, handle refunds and disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary with the service providers that make an order possible:
- Our payment provider (for CIB / EDAHABIA payments), which handles your card details under its own terms.
- The online stores and carriers we buy from and ship through for shop-for-me orders, which receive your delivery details.
- Our email provider (Resend) to send you confirmation and order links, and our hosting provider that runs the service.
Some of these providers operate outside Algeria; where personal data is transferred abroad, it is limited to what an order requires and handled under appropriate safeguards.
4. How we protect it
Passwords are hashed, and sensitive data such as delivered gift-card codes is encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to authorised staff, and every administrative action on an order is recorded in an internal audit log. Connections to the service are secured in transit.
5. How long we keep it
We keep order and account data for as long as your account is active and for the period needed to handle refunds, disputes, accounting and legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to close your account and remove your data, subject to records we are required to keep.
6. Your rights
In line with Algerian data-protection law (Law 18-07 on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data), you may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or limit certain processing, and to receive a copy of the data you provided. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@paydz.store. You may also refer a complaint to the national authority for the protection of personal data (ANPDP).
7. Cookies
Paydz uses a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in. It is not used for advertising or third-party tracking, and the site does not function without it while you are signed in.
